Upload a photo and watch it appear inside the crystal in a live 3D preview. Turn it, zoom in, add your own words and change the size. The preview is a draft: our team retouches every photo before engraving and sends you the final design on request.

Your photo stays yours
We use your picture to make your order and nothing else. Photos that never become an order are removed after 30 days. Details are in our privacy policy.

Inside the 3D Effect
A photo is flat. A crystal is not. The magic of a 3D photo crystal is that your picture seems to float in the middle of the glass, with a face that has real depth.
Step one: finding the subject
We separate the people, pets or objects you care about from the background, so only they are engraved. If you prefer to keep the background, there is a switch for that in the preview.
Step two: measuring depth
Software estimates how far each part of the picture is from the camera: a nose is closer than an ear, an ear is closer than the shoulder behind it. That gives every point of the picture its own place between the front and back of the crystal.
Step three: a cloud of tiny points
The picture is turned into thousands of tiny points of light, bright where the photo is bright and sparse where it is dark. Looking at the crystal from the front, your eyes join the points into a picture; turn it and the depth shows.
Why the preview matters
The preview is a quick, automatic draft. If it looks rough, that is the software, not your photo: our team retouches every photo before engraving. Send us your wishes (tap the little crystal helper beside the Add to cart button and choose Add notes for your crystal) and, if you like, ask us to send you the final design first. You can rotate the live preview and check the depth before ordering, and under Advanced you can move and resize your photo and your text yourself.
How We Engrave
Your crystal is engraved with a subsurface laser. The beam passes through the clear glass without touching the surface and makes a tiny white spot exactly where we aim it, deep inside.
From your order to the crystal
- Your design is saved with your order: the photo, the depth map, your text and font, and the size and shape you chose.
- The design becomes a point file: thousands of coordinates, one for every spot of light.
- The laser draws the points layer by layer inside the optical crystal. Nothing is printed or painted, so nothing can wear off.
- Finishing: the crystal is cleaned, inspected and packed for shipping.
Proofing by our team
Before engraving, our team checks and retouches your photo by hand: cleaning the cut-out, balancing light and dark and adjusting the depth. If you wrote a note with your order, we follow it, and we may call or e-mail you with questions. Would you like to approve the final design? Say so in your notes (tap the little crystal helper beside the Add to cart button and choose Add notes for your crystal) and we will send it to you first.
Good to know
- Sharper, well-lit photos give the best results. Faces that fill more of the picture engrave in more detail.
- Larger sizes hold more points and therefore more detail, especially for group photos.
- Each crystal is made to order, so no two are exactly alike.
One-Year Guarantee
Glass is strong, but life is unpredictable. Every Kuetee crystal comes with a one-year guarantee: if yours chips, cracks or breaks within a year of your purchase, we will engrave a new one with the same design and you only pay a small, fixed deductible instead of the full price. There is no extra fee and no registration.
How a replacement works
- Write to us at info@kuetee.com and include your original order number (it is in your order confirmation e-mail). We cannot open a claim without it.
- Send two clear photos of the damaged crystal, taken from different angles.
- We review your claim and answer by e-mail. Once it is approved we send you a private link and a promo code that lowers the price of the new crystal to your deductible.
- Check out with that code. Shipping is charged at checkout and is calculated on the regular price of the crystal, not on the deductible.
The fine print
- Coverage lasts one year from the original purchase date and belongs to the original purchaser.
- One replacement per original purchase. The replacement does not start a new guarantee.
- Every claim needs the original order number and two photographs of the damage.
- The replacement has the identical design (same photo, same text, same size and shape).
- Light bases, packaging and other non-crystal items are not covered.
- We cannot cover damage that was done on purpose, and every claim is approved at our discretion.

The deductible depends on the size of the crystal being replaced and applies to every shape we offer:
- Key rings, necklaces, Small and Medium: $20
- Large: $30
- X-Large: $40
- XX-Large: $50

Ordering something personal from a website takes a little trust. These are the commitments we make to you.
- No surprises. You see your design in the live preview before you add it to the cart, and the price is on screen the whole time.
- A person checks your design. The preview is only a draft. Our team retouches every photo before engraving, follows the notes you send us, and will send you the final design on request.
- Your photos are private. We use them to make your order. We do not sell them, share them for advertising or use them in our marketing without asking you first.
- If it breaks, we make it right. See the One-Year Guarantee.

Ordering
What kind of photo works best?
A sharp, well-lit picture where the faces are clearly visible. JPG, PNG and iPhone photos (HEIC) are fine. Very dark or blurry photos can look faint in the crystal.
Can I engrave more than one person or pet?
Yes. Group photos work, but each face gets smaller, so choose a larger crystal for families.
Can I keep the background of my photo?
By default we remove it so the subject floats in the glass. To keep it, press Advanced under the live preview (next to CENTER) and turn on the Background switch. Basic takes you back to the simple controls and keeps your choice.
Can I add text?
Yes. Type your words under the preview, pick a font and see them engraved before you order. Under Advanced you can also choose where the text sits (Switch sides, Align) and move or resize it yourself.
What are Basic and Advanced?
Under the live preview, next to CENTER, you can switch between two sets of controls. Basic has only Play and CENTER, to look at your crystal from every side. Advanced adds the Background switch, the text buttons (Switch sides, Align) and Resize / Place. Going back to Basic keeps every change you made.
Can I move or resize my photo and my text?
Yes. Press Advanced, then Resize / Place. The crystal turns to face you and your photo and text appear flat inside it. Tap the photo or the text (or the Photo / Text buttons) to choose one, drag it to move it, and pinch with two fingers (or use the mouse wheel, or the + and – buttons) to make it bigger or smaller. Photo and text move separately. Anything that reaches past the edge of the crystal is cut off and fades out near the edge. Press Back to see the result in the 3D preview; Reset returns to the automatic placement. Your placement is remembered for each product while you shop.
How can I tell you my wishes about my order?
Tap the little crystal helper beside the Add to cart button and choose Add notes for your crystal. Write anything you like (a detail, a wish, a question) and save. A green dot on the helper shows that you have notes, and your note is shown under the font box. Our team reads every note and may contact you by phone or e-mail about it.
Will you contact me by text message?
If you give us your phone number at checkout, we may text you about your order, for example to confirm a detail or share a delivery update. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out.
My photo does not look right in the preview. What now?
The preview is only a guide, and the software that draws it has limits. Our team retouches your photo before it is engraved, so the crystal is usually better than the preview. Tell us your wishes in your notes (tap the little crystal helper beside the Add to cart button and choose Add notes for your crystal), and ask us there if you would like to see the final design before we engrave.
Can I see the final design before you engrave?
Yes. Write it in your notes when you order (tap the little crystal helper beside the Add to cart button and choose Add notes for your crystal, or e-mail us with your order number) and we will send you the final design to approve first. We may contact you by phone or e-mail if we have a question about your notes, which is why we ask for a phone number at checkout.
Do I really see my crystal before ordering?
You see a live 3D preview of your own photo in the crystal you picked. It is a guide to the engraving, not the final proof; the real glass is clear and the engraving is white.

How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid strong chemicals and hard rubbing on the surface.
Will the engraving fade?
No. The points are made inside the glass, not on it, so they do not fade or wear off.
What if it breaks?
It is covered for the first year after your purchase. See the One-Year Guarantee.
Privacy
What happens to my photo?
It is used to create your preview and your order. If you do not order, it is deleted after 30 days. Read the privacy policy.

Not at the moment. We ship within the United States only.
Is shipping free?
Orders over $150 ship free. Otherwise the cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
Can I pick my order up?
Yes, if you live around Oviedo, Florida: choose local pickup from our Oviedo Mall store at checkout.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to design and order a crystal from this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
- Pages use headings, links and form labels that screen readers can follow.
- Text colours are chosen for readable contrast, and animations respect the reduced motion setting of your device.
- The 3D preview is an extra: you can still order without moving it, and the size, shape and text controls are ordinary form fields you can reach with the keyboard.
